iGod

What's the best way to get a hold of God? Now that we have spent the last two months understanding why communicating with God can be so hard, but so worth it, the answer is somewhat easier: God is always hearing us, and often speaking to us. But are we listening?... Are we speaking to Him?
But go back two months, and the question suddenly becomes more puzzling. This frustration of communicating with a supernatural being has driven people to come up with some interesting ideas. And this one I just ran into has probably been on many people's wish lists: iGod. Tagged as "repenting made easy", iGod is a interactive artificial intelligence chat that acts as "God" talking back to you.

Silly? Genius? Blasphemous? Probably all of the above. But most importantly, unnecessary. Read this carefully: God is listening to you, right now. He hears your cry. He hears your laughter. He hears your frustrations. He hears your joy. And you don't need to "sign in" to speak to Him. Open your heart and trust. He will never disappoint.

"...but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer." - Psalm 66:19
