Free College Guides

Is there a more annoying, yet repetitive question to young adults than "so, what are you going to school for?" The truth is, half of us don't always know what career we really want, and many of us aren't sure we are in the right path. So a little help never hurts. These free guides from Relevant Magazine are a great start to anyone who's looking for some answers, or just some general direction. They've got a guide for Undergrad School, Grad School and even one for Seminaries (which I had never seen before...cool!). Better yet, they're all free, so give them a look!

Out of the Haiti tragedy, another miraculous and touching stories suffices from under the rubble. Dan Woolley, who was in Haiti filming for Compassion International was trapped for nearly 3 days before being rescued. But as the notes he wrote for his children showed, Dan was trusting in God, no matter the outcome. Check out his interview on NBC's Today:

God Of Second Chances

It's no secret that some of the best worship songs have yet to be completed. But is there a more touching way to find that out than on a moment such as the one captured on this video?

Carlos Whittaker is a passionate upcoming recording worship artist who was just trying to shoot some footage for his new song. Danny is a homeless man with a killer freestyle timing for reggae toasting and a humble heart. They met on a windy morning, making music, and worshiping God together. Touching + awesome. Thank you God for giving us all, endless chances.

Persecuted Church Global Map

Just received this map in the mail from Voice Of The Martyrs. For a great interactive online version, click here.

Maybe it's because us Christians in the United States are hardly ever oppressed, or maybe it's because we are simply blinded, but for whatever reason, most of us don't consider our modern age as a time where people still suffer and die for Jesus Christ. The reality is that Christian churches and missionaries around the world need your prayer and support now, more than ever. Christian martyrdom is higher now than ever before. What nation is God calling you to pray for? Maybe support financially? Or more incredible yet, go to? Don't silence His voice...

VOM is the same group behind the free Tortured for Christ books, so check them out!
